Elisabeth Pratscher

Elisabeth Pratscher (* 1984 in Oberpullendorf , Burgenland , Austria ) is an Austrian opera singer with a soprano voice .

Life

She studied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna ( stage entrance examination for opera, 2009) as well as theater , film and media studies at the University of Vienna ( Bachelor , 2010).

Elisabeth Pratscher made her stage debut in 2006 as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte at the Opera Festival in St. Margarethen in Burgenland , where she also had regular engagements in the following years . Other important engagements in 2012 were the title role in Die Schöne Galathée at the Munich Chamber Opera and in 2012 as Gretchen in Der Wildschütz and 2014 as Barbarina in Die Hochzeit des Figaro at the J: Opera Festival in Jennersdorf .
