Elisabeth Willibald (born March 12, 1996 ) is a former German ski racer from Jachenau in Upper Bavaria .

biography

Willibald took the first time in March 2013 at the European Cup slalom of Lenggries part. Her best result until 2015 was the 7th place in the slalom in Melchsee-Frutt , Switzerland .

In the World Cup Willibald drives since the 2014/15 season . There she only takes part in the slalom . She made her World Cup debut in January 2015 in the slalom in Flachau , Austria . However, she was eliminated in the first round. In January 2016 she was 15th in the 2nd slalom in Flachau and was able to get her first World Cup points. In March 2016 she became the junior world champion in slalom at the Junior World Championships in Sochi . On December 30, 2016, she was the second best German in the slalom on Semmering and came 19th; she drove the second fastest time in the second run after the winner Mikaela Shiffrin.

In July 2017 she surprisingly became the mother of a young daughter, which is why she retired from active ski racing a year later.
