Elizabeth Bracco
Elizabeth Bracco (born November 5, 1957 in New York City ) is an American actress .
Life
Early life
Bracco was born in Brooklyn as the daughter of Eileen (nee Molyneux 1926-2010) and Salvatore Bracco, Sr. and grew up in adjacent Westbury on Long Island . Her mother was French by origin and grew up in England. Her father was an Italian American who served as a soldier in Europe during World War II , where he met and took Eileen to the United States. Like her famous older sister, Lorraine Bracco , she chose acting.
Career
Elizabeth mostly worked as a supporting actress in well-known cinema productions such as The Color of Money , The Night Has Many Eyes , Mystery Train , The Club of Devils , A Matter of Nerves . One of her best-known roles is that of Marie Spatafore, wife of Vito Spatafore , in the hit HBO television series The Sopranos . She played this character in eight episodes between 2006 and 2007. She played her last film role so far (as of 2020) also in 2007 with a small supporting role in the movie interview .
Private life
Bracco has been married to Aidan Quinn since 1987 and lives with him in Englewood, New Jersey . They have two daughters, Mia and Ava. Ava has autism . Bracco largely retired from acting to look after her children.
