Elke Pahn

Elke Pahn (* 1942 ; nee Griebel) is a German speech scientist .

Life

After Elke Pahn had passed the university entrance exam, she studied speech , German and pedagogy from 1960 to 1965 at the Philosophical Faculty of the Martin Luther University in Halle . In 1977, she was with a thesis on the topic "Impact of functionally caused hoarseness in the communication process with special emphasis on therapeutic and voting artistic influence of Nasalierungsübung" to Dr. paed. PhD at the Rehabilitation Pedagogy and Communication Science section at Humboldt University Berlin . In 1995 she was appointed professor for speech training / diction at the Rostock University of Music and Theater . She taught there until her retirement in February 2007.

Teaching

Pahn worked as a voice trainer for actors and singers at the Stralsund theater , in Schwerin , Anklam and Rostock. In addition, she worked on the training of choir singers at the Berlin University of Music - Schwerin branch - and was active in the speaker training of theology students at the Theology Section of the University of Rostock. She was also a speaker teacher for radio journalists at Radio Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Rostock.

Therapeutic activity

Elke Pahn also worked as a voice and speech therapist at the ENT clinic of the Medical Academy in Erfurt and as a speaker training teacher at the Rostock Drama School.
