Ella Frey

Ella Frey (* 2004 in Munich ) is a German actress . She played u. a. in the films Hirngespinster and The Diary of Anne Frank .

Life

Frey took on her first role in 2014 in the drama Hirngespinster , the daughter of the schizophrenic protagonist. In the same year she played in Andreas Kleinert's television film Monsoon Baby (also: A new life - white baby, brown belly ). In 2015 she took part in the WDR television film Nur ein Handful Leben on the subject of trisomy 18 and the children's film At Eye Level . In February 2016 she was seen in the ZDF production Das Dorf des Schweigens , directed by Hans Steinbichler . Steinbichler is also the director of the literary adaptation The Diary of Anne Frank , which was shot in spring 2015 and was released in cinemas on March 3, 2016. Frey plays the young Anne Frank , who is played in the main role by Lea van Acken . In 2018 she played the leading role alongside Martin Wuttke in the tragicomic drama Glück ist Was für Wicheier , directed by Anca Miruna Lăzărescu .
