Ellen Serwa Nee-Whang
Ellen Nee-Whang Serwa (* 2. November 1952 ) is a Ghanaian diplomat in retirement .
education
- She obtained her GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level at Aburi Girls' Senior High School .
- In 1973 she earned a degree in English and a postgraduate diploma in international relations from the University of Ghana .
Career
- In 1974 she joined the foreign service of her country.
- From 1985 to 1989 she worked at the Ghanaian representation in Monrovia ( Liberia ) as counselor (counselor) and was entrusted with the management of the embassy chancellery.
- Between 1989 and 1993 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana ( Policy Planning and Research Bureau )
- From 1993 to 1997 she headed the Embassy Chancellery at the Permanent Mission of Ghana to the United Nations Office in Geneva as Counselor .
- From April 2000 to November 2005 she was High Commissioner in Pretoria ( South Africa ) with simultaneous accreditation to the governments of Maseru ( Lesotho ), Antananarivo ( Madagascar ), Port Louis ( Mauritius ), Victoria ( Seychelles ), Mbabane ( Swaziland ) and Moroni ( Comoros) ).
- From January 2006 to October 2008 she worked as a senior official in the Ghanaian Ministry of Foreign Affaires and Regional Integration .
- From 2010 to 2012 she was accredited as ambassador in Bern ( Switzerland ) and at the same time in Vienna ( Austria ).
