Ellie Kendrick (born June 6, 1990 in London , England , actually Eleanor Lucy V. Kendrick ) is a British actress .

Life

Ellie Kendrick was born in June 1990 in the British capital, London . She had her first acting appearance on television at the age of 14 as young Greta in the television series Waking the Dead . Shortly after graduating from Benenden School in Kent , she played the lead role of Anne Frank in the miniseries The Diary of Anne Frank . In 2012 and 2013 she starred as Allison in two episodes of the British television series Being Human . In 2013 she starred in five episodes of Misfits Helen. Immediately after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in English literature in 2013, she got the role of Meera Reed in the drama series Game of Thrones .

In addition to her appearances in film and television, Ellie Kendrick can be seen in various theater productions. She has appeared in Prison Pest , The Low Road and In the Republic of Happiness at the Royal Court Theater , among others . She also appeared in the play Romeo and Juliet at the Globe Theater .
