Ellighofen is a district of the town of Landsberg am Lech in the Upper Bavarian district of the same name .

The church village is located in the west of the Landsberg am Lech district, 8 km southwest of Landsberg am Lech, at an altitude of 634 m above sea level. NN . The Wiesbach flows through Ellighofen .
The place was an independent municipality until 1972. As part of the municipal reorganization of Bavaria , it was initially incorporated into the municipality of Erpfting . Since 1978 it has been part of the town of Landsberg am Lech.
Until 1984 Ellighofen had a train station on the Fuchstalbahn from Landsberg to Schongau, which opened in 1886 . Ellighofen has no noteworthy business or industrial park. After a long discussion, a community center was created in Ellighofen in 1999 by the city of Landsberg am Lech as the village center.
Attractions
The townscape is determined by the late Gothic branch church St. Stephan . On the eastern edge of the village or outside of the village are the field chapel of St. Rasso from the 17th century and the field chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows from the second half of the 18th century.
