Reisch is a district of the Upper Bavarian city of Landsberg am Lech , east of the city.

Reisch lies between the town of Landsberg and the municipality of Schwifting at an altitude of 626 m above sea level. NN . Reisch is represented today in the Landsberg city council with a local spokesman . The pilgrimage church of the Assumption of Mary is particularly worth seeing.

history

Reisch is first mentioned in 1052 as Rische , the place name is derived from the Latin ruscus, rush.

The church village belonged to the joint office of the Landsberg district court, in 1752 there are 22 properties. The most important owners are the Rottenbuch Abbey , the Hl. Geist Spital Landsberg and the Landsberg parish church.

On July 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality was incorporated into the city of Landsberg am Lech.
