Elmo Veron

Elmo Joseph Veron (born September 17, 1903 in New Orleans , Louisiana , † November 7, 1990 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film editor who was nominated for an Oscar for best editing in 1938 .

Life

Veron began his career as an editor in the film industry in Hollywood in 1937 in which, after the novel Captains Courageous by Rudyard Kipling turned Adventure Manuel (1937) by Victor Fleming with Freddie Bartholomew , Spencer Tracy and Lionel Barrymore in the lead roles and was the same for this movie in Academy Awards 1938 nominated for the Oscar for Best Editing .

In the course of his career, which lasted until 1972, he worked on the editing of 47 films and television series , most recently in 1972 with Young Dr. Kildare , a television series that stars Mark Jenkins and Gary Merrill .
