Elsa Anna Sofie Hosk (born November 7, 1988 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish model .

Life

Elsa Hosk grew up in Sweden and attended Enskilda Gymnasiet . She received her first offers as a model while she was still at school, after her father had sent photos to various Swedish agencies, so that she started working as a model at the age of 14. During her high school days, she did some projects for Guess and other companies, but continued to focus on her school education.

After graduating from high school, she decided to pursue a career as a professional basketball player and played for two years in the Swedish women's league ( Damligan , now Basketligan dam ). In their opinion, the level in Sweden was not even close to that of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), and the interest in the sport is not that great in Sweden, but in their opinion they have the intensive training with up to eight exercises per Week and traveling well prepared for the later stresses and strains of the fashion world.

Elsa Hosk now works as a model for leading brands such as Christian Dior , Dolce & Gabbana , Ungaro , H&M , Lilly Pulitzer and Guess. She has appeared annually for Victoria's Secret in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows since 2011 . They also participated in some campaigns part of this brand, especially for PINK. Since 2015 she has been considered one of the angels of Victoria's Secret.

Although it is often written that her work with Victoria's Secret took her work to the top echelons of the fashion world, Hosk herself considers her work with the photographer Ellen von Unwerth for a campaign for Guess to be one of the most important milestones in her career.
