Else Bechteler-Moses (born April 26, 1933 in Berlin ) is a German artist (carpet art).

Else Bechteler-Moses, daughter of Theo Bechteler , lived in Immenstadt from 1945 to 1952 . After attending the Maria Stern secondary school , she completed an apprenticeship in the Hense hand weaving mill in Thalkirchdorf and continued her studies at the master crafts school in Berlin.
From 1958 she was a master student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Franz Nagel.
Else Bechteler-Moses was married to the photographer Stefan Moses and lives as a painter and carpet artist in Munich.
style
Bechteler-Moses is a carpet artist in the Informel style . In the 1970s she was one of the first artists to break away from the wall and hang her transparent fabric freely in the room (Leonie von Wilckens).
