Embach has been part of the municipality of Lend in the province of Salzburg since 1938 . It is located in the Pinzgau at an altitude of 1013 m above sea level. A. and advertises that it is the largest farm village in Salzburg. The Embach coat of arms was inspired by a work by a HS- Lend student, which was selected through a drawing competition held by the school.
