Ember to Inferno is the debut album by the US metalcore / thrash metal band Trivium . It was released in October 2003 through the German music label Lifeforce Records .

All songs were written entirely by Matthew Heafy, who was 17 at the time. Travis Smith only took part in the arrangement of the titles. Jason Suecof can be heard on keyboards on some of the songs. George Moore plays the acoustic guitar in A View of Burning Empires . The album was recorded and mixed in July 2003 at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford ( Florida ) and at Morrisound Recordings in Tampa (Florida) under the direction of Jason Suecof, Matthew Heafy, Travis Smith and Brent Young.

In 2005 the album was re-released. The re-release includes three bonus titles. Two previously unreleased titles, which were created in November 2003, and Demon from the demo released in early 2003.
