Emil Hagmann

Emil Hugo Hagmann (born April 9, 1872 in Neviges , † October 18, 1919 in Essen - Heisingen ) was a German politician.

Life

After attending school, Emil Hagmann did an apprenticeship with the city of Mönchengladbach and passed the secretary's examination.

He was provisional from 14 September 1900 and from 21 March 1902 full-time mayor of the former mayor of Neersen . He then became mayor of the city of Adenau from October 7, 1905 to March 31, 1910 . From 1910 until his death he was the first mayor of the then still independent municipality of Heisingen, now a district of Essen.

The Hagmanngarten street in Essen-Heisingen is named after him.
