Emil Hardegger (born September 6, 1881 in Rorschacherberg ; † March 18, 1977 in St. Gallen , entitled to live in Gams ) was a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Family and work

Emil Hardegger, son of the teacher Jakob Hardegger and Anna Maria née Buob, a graduate of the teachers' college in Rorschach , then worked as a primary school teacher in Rorschacherberg, as an assistant teacher at the St. Gallen institution for the deaf, and then as a teacher in the special classes for the less gifted at the city center. St. Gallic School used.

Emil Hardegger was married to the teacher Anna Martina, born Wäspi, from Ernetschwil . He died in 1977 at the old age of 95 in St. Gallen.

Political career

Emil Hardegger, who joined the Social Democratic Party (SP), was a member of the Central School Council from 1918 to 1927 and of the Education Council from 1925 to 1927.
