Emil Sorge

Emil Sorge (born January 6, 1957 in Breinig , Aachen district ) is a German painter .

Life

Emil Sorge was trained as a commercial painter from 1973 to 1975 and studied at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf from 1975 to 1981 . There he became a master student of Professor Rissa . This was followed by numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Today he lives and works in Stolberg-Breinig .

Emil Sorge is one of the founders of the “Eifelmaler” group , along with Win Braun , Hartmut Ritzerfeld and Franz-Bernd Becker.

Luminous sculptures are also part of his work.
