Emil Weber (painter)
Emil Weber (born October 19, 1872 in Zurich , † 1945 in Munich ) was a Swiss painter .
life and work
Emil Weber attended the Zurich School of Applied Arts from 1890 to 1892 and then continued his self-taught education . Study trips took him to Italy and Munich . There he entered the Munich Royal Art Academy in 1899 and took lessons from Johann Caspar Herterich , Carl von Marr and Franz von Stuck . Weber worked as a freelance artist in Munich, Italy and Switzerland. Here he put u. a. 1932 exhibited his works at the Kunsthaus Zürich . Most of his works were destroyed in a bomb attack in 1945 .
