Emil von Fürth
Emil von Fürth (born September 7, 1863 in Strakonitz , Bohemia , † August 17, 1911 in Hornbæk , Denmark ) was an Austrian politician. He was active in local and social policy.
Life
Fürth studied law and completed his doctorate. He then went into politics and was on the Vienna City Council from 1904 to 1910 , where he represented the Social Political Party , a bourgeois-liberal group. As a specialist in housing welfare, he earned services to the 9th International Housing Reform Congress, which took place in Vienna in 1910 . He was also a sponsor of the Vienna People's Education Association .
Emil von Fürth died in a swimming accident in Denmark. In 1930 the Fürthweg in Vienna- Hietzing was named after him. He was married to Ernestine von Fürth née Kisch, a leading representative of the bourgeois women's movement in Austria.
