Emilia Fahlin (born October 24, 1988 in Örebro ) is a Swedish cyclist .
Athletic career
In 2005 Emilia Fahlin became Swedish junior champion in road racing , in the individual time trial she finished second. In 2007 she signed a contract with Team T-Mobile , in 2008 with the HTC Highroad Women team and its successor teams . In 2008 she became Swedish champion in the road race of the elite, won the overall classification of the Svanesunds 3-dagars and, together with her team, the first stage of the Giro della Toscana Femminile , a team time trial .
In 2009 Fahlin became Swedish champion in the individual time trial, finished second in this discipline at the European Championships (youngsters) and won the Tour of California Women's Criterium . In 2010 she was two-time Swedish champion in road racing and individual time trial, again vice European time trial champion and again won the team time trial at the Giro della Toscana with her team . She also finished ninth in the time trial at the 2010 UCI Road World Championships in Geelong, Australia . In 2011 she became the Swedish time trial champion for the third time and repeated her ninth place from the previous year at the UCI Road World Championships 2011 in Copenhagen . In the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche , she won four stages. In 2013 she was again Swedish road champion.
After a long dry spell, Emilia Fahlin won the Swedish Open de Suède Vårgårda in 2016 . In the road race of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, she finished 27th. Four years earlier, at the Olympic Games in London , she was 19th in the road race and 17th in the individual time trial.
In 2018 she won the Czech stage race Gracia Orlová and came second at the Ladies Tour of Norway and fourth at the Lotto Belgium Tour . At the end of the season, Fahlin was fourth in the road race at the World Championships in Innsbruck and, together with her team Wiggle High5, in the team time trial . She was also the Swedish road champion for the third time.
