Marianne Berglund

Marianne Berglund (born June 23, 1963 in Boliden ) is a former Swedish cyclist and road world champion .

Marianne Berglund was Sweden's preeminent cyclist in the 1980s. Her career began with winning the Swedish junior championship on the road in 1978. By 1992 she was able to win the national title eleven times in the individual race as well as in the team time trial.

In 1983 Marianne Berglund became world champion in Altenrhein SG, Switzerland . In 1994 she retired from active cycling.
