Emilia Ingrid Maria Ramboldt , b. Andersson , (* 31 August 1988 in Sollentuna ) is a Swedish ice hockey player , since the 2013/14 season for the Linköpings HC in the Svenska damhockeyligan on the position of the defender plays.

Career

In the course of her sporting career, Ramboldt played for several clubs. First at AIK Solna until summer 2008 , then at the Minnesota State University of Mankato , only interrupted by a one-year intermezzo at Segeltorps IF . The defender has been playing for Linköpings HC since summer 2013 . Especially at the beginning of her career, she celebrated numerous successes with AIK Solna, including two Swedish championship titles and four times winning the IIHF European Women Champions Cup . Over the years, she had three more championship titles with Segeltorp and Linköping. In 2015 she received the highest award in Swedish women's ice hockey, the Årets hockeytjej .

International

Ramboldt was a member of the Swedish national ice hockey team at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and 2014 in Sochi . She was also nominated for the Swedish squad at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , which she led as team captain. In addition, it has been used regularly at world championships since 2007 . When she first participated, she won the bronze medal.

She has been married to Anna Ramboldt since June 2015. Their son was born in 2017.

Ramboldt's younger brother Jimmy Andersson is also a professional ice hockey player.
