Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo (born July 13, 1961 in Funtua , Nigeria ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Oyo .

Life

Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Oyo on January 4, 1986 . On March 3, 1995, Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo was incardinated in the clergy of the Diocese of Osogbo .

On August 14, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to coadjutor bishop of Oyo. The Bishop of Oyo, Julius Babatunde Adelakun , donated him episcopal ordination on October 20 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ekiti , Michael Patrick Olatunji Fagun , and the Bishop of Osogbo, Gabriel 'Leke Abegunrin . On November 4, 2009, Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo became Bishop of Oyo, succeeding Julius Babatunde Adelakun, who resigned for reasons of age.
