The Bistum Osogbo ( lat. : Dioecesis Osogboanus ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Oshogbo .

history

The Diocese of Osogbo was established on March 3, 1995 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad aptius from cessions of territory from the Diocese of Oyo and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Ibadan as a suffragan .
