Emmanuel Françoise (born June 8, 1987 in Metz ) is a French football player .

Career

Françoise played for his home club FC Metz until 2008 . There he came on December 22, 2007 in the away game at FC Lorient (0-2) for his only appearance in the French first division , when he came on for Abdoulaye Baldé in the 61st minute . He then played for the second team of the then German second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern and for the Luxembourg first division club F91 Dudelange . For the latter club he played, among other things, twice in the Champions League qualification in 2009/10 against FK Ventspils . From 2010 to 2013 he was under contract with the lower class Belgian club CS Visé . After a season with US Cremonese in Italy, Françoise moved back to Fola Esch in the Luxembourg BGL Ligue in 2014 . In 2015 he won the national championship with the club .

In 2017, Françoise moved from Fola Esch to FC Progrès Niederkorn . After his old club's game against Dudelange on May 14, 2017, he tested positive for doping. Progrès announced that Françoise was asthmatic and had taken the drug terbutaline before the game , which has been on the list of banned substances since January 1, 2017. However, he did not take this to improve performance, but for purely medical reasons. He was not banned for this offense, only given a warning. The Luxembourg Anti-Doping Agency (Alad) announced an appeal against this judgment. A negotiation date had not yet been set at the beginning of the 2017/18 season .

For the 2020/21 season, Françoise then moved on to the first division promoted Swift Hesperingen .
