Moïse Emmanuel Mbende (born March 3, 1996 in Douala , Cameroon ) is a Cameroonian- German football player .

life and career

Mbende came to Germany with his parents in 2006 and started playing football in the youth team of SC Weitmar 45 . The central defender was subsequently appointed to the district selection and invited to a training session at Borussia Dortmund , where he switched to youth division in 2008. With Dortmund he went through the other youth teams up to the U-19 and came to three appearances in the UEFA Youth League in the 2014/15 season .

In 2015 he left Borussia Dortmund and moved to the English second division club Birmingham City at the end of September , where he was part of the U-21 team in the 2015/16 season. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, after a trial session, Moïse Emmanuel Mbende signed a contract with the Saxon third division team Chemnitzer FC, a two-year contract with the option of extending the contract for another year. He played his first game in the 3rd league on August 14, 2016 (4th matchday of the 2016/17 season) in the 2-2 draw between Chemnitzer FC and VfR Aalen , as Mbende in the 80th minute for the injured Marc Endres was substituted on.

In Chemnitz he made a total of 23 appearances for the third division team in a two-year contract period. In the 2017/18 season, he only played 9 league games for the club and was no longer part of the professional team. His contract, which expired at the end of the season, was not extended. After the bankruptcy and the subsequent relegation to the Regionalliga Nordost Mbende left the club for free and joined the Dutch second division club SC Cambuur Leeuwarden . He scored his first goal in the Eerste Divisie in the first game of the season at 2-2 at NEC Nijmegen . At the end of the season 2018/2019 left Mbende Cambuur and the club closed Catania in the Italian Lega Pro / C on.

National team

As part of the qualification for the U-20 African Cup of Nations 2015 , Mbende was in the squad of the junior team in his home country in 2014.
