Emmanuel Otteh
Emmanuel Nwafo Otteh (* 1927 in Awkuzu ; † July 27, 2012 in Onitsha ) was Bishop of Issele-Uku .
Life
Emmanuel Otteh was ordained a priest on July 30, 1961 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Cova on June 11, 1990 and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Onitsha . The president of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue , Francis Cardinal Arinze , donated him episcopal ordination on September 2, 1990 ; Co- consecrators were Stephen Nweke Ezeanya , Archbishop of Onitsha , and Michael Ugwu Eneja , Bishop of Enugu .
On November 8, 1996, he was appointed Bishop of Issele-Uku by John Paul II . On November 14, 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
