Emrah Bozkurt (born March 1, 1980 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Bozkurt started with club football in the youth department of Önderspor and later played for the youth teams of Toptancı Hal Varlık SK and Keçiörengücü . In the latter, he was included in the professional squad in December 2000 with a professional contract. Here he played for the next four years. In 2004 he moved to the third division team Ankara Demirspor and had a mixed season. He then played for the two fourth division clubs Erzincanspor and Afyonkarahisarspor and developed into one of the most successful strikers in the lower Turkish leagues. In 2007 he hired the second division Kayseri Erciyesspor and moved on to the second division Diyarbakırspor a year later . With this team he reached the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig .

At the end of the season he separated from Diyarbakırspor and went to Karşıyaka SK . With Karşıyaka he made it to the relegation final of the TFF 1. Lig and missed promotion to the Süper Lig only in the last instance.

Summer 2010 he moved to his old club and second division club Kayseri Erciyesspor . In the 2012/13 season he was the second top scorer of his team with 13 goals behind Gerard Bi Goua Gohou . He and his team were champions of the TFF 1st Lig at the end of the season and thus rose to the Süper Lig . After this success and his contract with Erciyesspor at the same time, he left the club and hired for the coming season at the second division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . With this team Bozkurt reached the play-offs. After three victorious games in the play-off round, Bozkurt rose to the Süper Lig with Mersin İdman Yurdu.

Despite the promotion, he moved to Denizlispor in the summer break of 2014 .
