Emscherkurve 77 is a street punk band founded in Oberhausen in 2000 . The theme song of their first CD, Die Macht vom Niederrhein (based on the song No Surrender by Bruce Springsteen ), has been the official running-in music of SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen since 2001 , which is played at the beginning of the first half. In 2011 Emscherkurve 77 composed a new stadium anthem "Rot-Weiß Oberhausen", which will be played at the beginning of the second half. Her texts are about fun, joie de vivre, football and life in the Ruhr area as well as the everyday life of the little man .
