Energie & Management is an independent print magazine and online magazine on the subject of the energy industry and energy policy. It publishes the latest news, reports, analyzes, comments and industry reviews in order to provide assistance according to its own account "as an opinion-forming magazine for energy professionals".
The newspaper was founded in 1994 by the journalist Helmut Sendner under the name Energie & Management. In the same year, the news service for the energy industry E&M opened powernews. Editor and publisher is Helmut Sendner. In addition to the five editors in Herrsching, eight correspondents report for Energy & Management in Germany and abroad. The editors and editors as well as external columnists write regularly in the editorial team led by the editor-in-chief Stefan Sagmeister.
On a monthly average, energie-und-management.de reaches 70,000 page views . The magazine is financed through advertising and subscriptions. Not all articles are freely accessible, but can be called up via the news service.
One of Energie & Management's projects is the website Der Energiemanager des Jahres, on which Helmut Sendner claims to promote ideas. Promote shareholder value, innovation and environmental sustainability. Since 2010, the Energie & Management website has been accompanying companies and public projects in the preparation of studies such as the green electricity survey and the green gas survey.
Rankings
Every year Energie & Management publishes a green electricity and green gas survey. The basis for this is a survey on the development of customer and sales figures for green electricity at all providers of green electricity and green gas.
The CHP ranking is also published once a year. The basis for the statistics and survey is the electrical power in kW and the number of modules. The CHP market survey is carried out in cooperation with the Öko-Institut .
Energy manager of the year
The jury behind the Energy Manager Award is made up of representatives from a wide range of disciplines from the energy industry.
The prize, initiated by the newspaper Energie & Management and supported by the law firm Becker Büttner Held and K.Group GmbH, was awarded for the first time in 2001. Evaluation criteria are general leadership qualities, social and societal competence and sustainable corporate development.
