Angel in evening dress or Paulchen and the millionaire inheritance is a German film that was released in West German cinemas on June 8, 1951.

action

When Peter Harden returns to Germany after years of absence to inherit his uncle, he finds only large debts in addition to a half-ruined castle-like building. Now the young bailiff Ingrid Engel appears, who seizes the last remainder of his property. He falls in love with her, but it takes a newspaper advertisement that she is said to have inherited a mink farm that turns things around. Your debtors now believe that as a millionaire she can take on the debts. Some dowry hunters go after them too, before it turns out that reporting Ingrid's fortune is fabricated. Ingrid has meanwhile discovered her affection for Peter, who placed the ad. As a final official act, she makes a "pledge and transfer decision" in the marriage.
