The 2000/01 season was the 3rd edition of the English Premier Ice Hockey League .

Mode and participants

Only English teams took part in the third highest British league. Two rounds were played with two legs. Two points were awarded for a win - even after overtime or a shootout - one point was awarded for a loss after overtime or a shootout.

An English junior selection took part in the league. Due to the lack of a home ground, they only played away, with the results of their games being counted twice. A U20 selection played the first round. For the second round there was a U18 selection.
