The 2011/12 season was the 14th edition of the English Premier Ice Hockey League .

Mode and participants

Only English teams take part in the second highest league. There were three rounds, each with a return game. Two points were awarded for a win - even after overtime or a shootout - one point was awarded for a loss after overtime or a shootout.

Play-offs

The games of the first play-off round were played in the mode with return legs. They took place on April 7th and 8th, 2012.

Journalists voted Janis Ozolins best player and André Payette (both Sheffield Steeldogs) best coach.
