The 2008/09 season was the 11th edition of the English Premier Ice Hockey League .

Mode and participants

Only English teams take part in the second highest British league. There were three rounds, each with a return game. Two points were awarded for a win - even after overtime or a shootout - one point was awarded for a loss after overtime or a shootout.
