history

The Catholic parish church of St. Willibald is a hall church with a retracted choir and south tower, the core of which dates from the beginning of the 12th century, the choir and tower were built in 1487.

Englmannsberg district

From the municipality census by the Bavarian municipal edict from 1818 to April 1, 1971, Englmannsberg and its districts were an independent municipality with (as of 1970) 429 inhabitants and an area of 13.5023 km² in the former district of Dingolfing .
