history
Until the 19th century
The small Hofmark Perasdorf had been owned by the Premonstratensian Abbey of Windberg since the 16th century . Perasdorf belonged to the Straubing Rent Office and the Mitterfels Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 . Until 1870 the official spelling of the place name was Perastorf .

In 2014 Thomas Schuster ( SPD ) was elected mayor. In the mayoral election in 2020 , Schuster was re-elected as the first mayor as a candidate for the CFW.

In 1998, according to official statistics, there were no employees in the manufacturing sector and no employees in the trade and transport sector at the place of work.
