coat of arms
Official description of the coat of arms (blazon): Under a silver shield head, inside two red strips, in red a silver lion ascending on a silver four-sided mountain.
Coat of arms history: The lion on the Seitenvierberg is a talking picture for the Counts of Leonsberg, who were the most important landlords in the municipality of Leiblfing in the High Middle Ages. The Counts of Leonsberg sold the bailiwick of the church in Leiblfing to the Regensburg Cathedral Chapter in 1306. The two red strips in the silver head of the shield are reminiscent of this. The two red strips in the silver head are taken from the coat of arms of the Lords of Leublfing, who can be traced back to the 12th century as ministerials of the bishops of Regensburg and who held important positions in the Bavarian civil service until the 19th century .
Partnerships
A partnership with the Italian municipality of Affi has existed since May 2000 .
