Niederhausen district

The area around Niederhausen was already settled in the Stone Age from the Isar valley . The place was first mentioned in a document in 731. The parish and the parish church of St. Stephan, which is the oldest building in the place, have been documented since 1257.

Since the territorial reform , which came into force on July 1, 1972, the greater part of the once independent municipality of the Marktgemeinde Reisbach belongs to. The rest was incorporated into Simbach bei Landau .

Obermünchsdorf district

Obermünchsdorf is colloquially called Minadorf . The place has about 150 inhabitants. Minadorf separates the two localities of Oberhausen and Niederhausen.

District Thannenmais

Thannenmais was already settled from the Vilstal during the Thirty Years' War .

The name already suggests (maize = cleared forest area) that this was a dense forest area. As can be learned from tradition, the whole area was densely forested from the Reisbacher Heights to the south. It was all owned by the Earls of Aham .

In the Thirty Years' War from 1618 to 1648, the Vilstalers fled with their belongings to Thannenmais in the woodland, where they were safe from the Swedish troops in the impenetrable dense forests.

The place Thannenmais belonged to the municipality Niederreisbach until 1971. On April 1, 1971, the municipality of Niederreisbach with Thannenmais was incorporated into the municipality of Reisbach as part of the regional reform.

The Bayern-Park amusement park is located on the outskirts of Fellbach .

history

The Reisbach market belonged to the Landshut Rent Office of the Electorate of Bavaria . Reisbach owned a market court with its own magistrate rights. In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the market was created with the municipal edict of 1818 . This was the smallest municipality in terms of area of the then district office of Dingolfing . In 1978 the market was expanded considerably as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

There are also two market fires in 1659 and 1835 that caused severe damage. Until June 30, 1972 Reisbach was a municipality in the district of Dingolfing . On July 1, 1972, it was assigned to the Untere Isar district, which has been called Dingolfing-Landau district since May 1, 1973 . On the same date, two municipalities of the former Landau an der Isar district were incorporated, Niederhausen and Oberhausen.

The community had a connection to the railway network between 1875 and 1969 via the Mühldorf – Pilsting railway line and its station in the Griesbach district.
