biography

Enik's first professional release was the 2003 EP Without A Bark , which was released by the Hamburg music label Wonder Records, where artists such as Bohren & the Club of Gore , Christian Harder and The Modernist were also released.

In 2004 he was involved in the radio disturbance album Disconnected , where he was involved in the songwriting of four songs and took over the vocals; then he accompanied the Rosenheimers on their Isolated World Tour .

In 2006 the debut album The Seasons in Between was released (licensed by Wonder Records) on Labels Germany , a sub-label of EMI , on which the most diverse musical styles are combined. Intro magazine described the music as an attempt to bring Prince , Faith No More and Peter Gabriel together; the Internet magazine laut.de pulled Tom Waits , Giant Sand and David Bowie approach for comparison, but curtailed that as many styles inspire in the music that compare to going long.

In the same year, Enik published the EP antenna surprisingly exclusively on his website - including some small art video clips.

In 2007 his album Chainsaw Buddha was released without a big drum roll . This album (like the Antenna EP) is an insider tip among fans.

In the same year, Enik's jazz career began with the band of his new pianist, the Chris Gall trio, with whom he produced the album Climbing Up , in which Enik sings and writes lyrics.

In 2008 Thomas D's solo album Kennzeichen D was released . Enik wrote some songs here and can be heard in the songs Poisoned in Sleep (No. 10) and Symphony of Destruction (No. 16). He also played in the opening act on Thomas D's tour that same year.
