Chris Gall
Chris Gall (born July 11, 1975 in Bad Aibling ) is a German jazz pianist and composer .
Live and act
Gall studied after classical piano training at the " Berklee College of Music " in Boston , USA. In 1998 he graduated from jazz studies.
Chris Gall was a permanent member of Giana Viscardi's band , with whom he performed at the 2001 Montreux Jazz Festival . He also played piano with the Indian fusion band "Taalsim" feat. Shakir Khan (sitar) and Kai Eckhardt (bass). He also performed with the New York Voices (Grammy Award Winner) as well as with Chico César , Dusko Goykovich , Don Menza and Bobby Shew .
In autumn 2007, Gall, who also plays pop and world music, signed a contract with ACT , where he released the album "Climbing Up" with the electro-pop artist Enik . He is also a member of the jazz soul formation The Hi-Fly Orchestra , with which he has also performed internationally. In a duo with the guitarist Andreas Dombert , he presented the CD “Duo” (Acoustic Music). In early 2014 he traveled to Argentina as a guest musician with the Quadro Nuevo group and was also involved in the group's CD “Tango!” As a pianist, composer and arranger. He can also be heard on albums by Norbert Küppers Riovolt and Mariette Radtke.
