Enraged by Beauty ( English for hatred brought about by beauty ) is a German death metal band that was founded in 2004 and completed in 2005. In the same year the debut demo of the same name was recorded.
history
The band was founded in Pirmasens in early 2005 . Except for the singer Dirk Hoffmann, the other group members came from this city. After completing the line-up in 2005 and the completion of the then current pieces, the band recorded the first demo Enraged by Beauty on their own , which comprised 9 songs, the style of which can be clearly assigned to Metalcore. As a result, there were concerts beyond Pirmasens.
In 2007 the band went to a professional recording studio for the first time and recorded the 5-song EP Words Like Poetry . These songs were already clearly heading in the direction of Death Metal. The EP not only helped to gain appearances at better-attended concerts, but also gained a certain reputation in the underground metalcore scene. Organizers also became aware and so Enraged by Beauty was able to play more often at concerts with bands such as Caliban , Neaera , Despised Icon , Soulfly , Hatesphere and others.
In 2008, the band recorded a full album despite numerous concert appearances . It was mixed in the studio by Alexander Dietz ( Heaven Shall Burn ). The CD was released by Big Deal Records . In addition, endorsement contracts have been concluded with, for example, Framus , Warwick , Schecter , InTune Guitar Pics and various clothing companies and designers.
In April 2009 the new album “Vae Victis” was presented on a Germany-wide CD release tour and achieved greater success. At the moment the band is again planning new tours, festivals, concerts and of course new pieces.
