from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Erdmann Friedrich von Schwerin (born November 11, 1704 in Stolpe on Usedom ; † April 17, 1753 ibid) was district administrator of the Usedom - Wollin district. He was heir to Stolpe and Grellenberg , which he sold to his brother-in-law Joachim Dietrich von Schmalensee in 1741.

Erdmann Friedrich von Schwerin was the son of Joachim Heinrich von Schwerin (1678–1724), heir to Stolpe , and Johanne Elisabeth von Horn (1673–1730), a daughter of Major General Magnus Friedrich von Horn . Major General Carl Magnus von Schwerin was his younger brother.

He enrolled at the University of Greifswald on February 21, 1721 . Around 1745 he was appointed as the successor to Axel Albrecht von Maltzahn as district administrator for Usedom and Wollin. Shortly before his death, he asked Friedrich II for support for his family. He left behind greater debts. With him, the stumbling line of the Schwerin family died out in the male line.

Erdmann Friedrich von Schwerin was married to Sophie Margarethe von Lepel . They had three daughters, of whom Sophie Elisabeth Dorothea was married to his successor as District Administrator Gregorius Friedrich von Schmalensee , who also took over the Stolper property.
