Eric Engesser (* 1971 ) is a German presenter and journalist .

Career

Engesser attended the Lessing Gymnasium in Karlsruhe . He then did an internship at regional television in Baden. After graduating, he worked there as an editor and head of the sports department. In 2000 he switched to DSF and moderated motorsports such as Formula 1 . He was also employed by RTV Film und Fernsehen in Stuttgart and also moderated motorsport.

Since the transformation of DSF into SPORT1 , he has alternated with Wolfgang Rother to moderate the motorsport news. On Wednesdays, current events in Formula 1, Moto GP , the FIA ​​World Rally Championship and the FIA GT1 World Championship are reported here. At the same time he writes articles on Sport1.de .

In the pseudo-documentary KTI - people lie, evidence not on RTL II , he played the chief detective Maximilian Stahl.

In addition to motorsport, Engesser is also enthusiastic about football . He is a fan of the traditional Karlsruher SC club . His grandfather was vice-president of the KSC.
