Erich-Günther Sasse
Erich-Günther Sasse (born April 7, 1944 in Wallwitz ; † March 3, 2016 in Leitzkau ) was a German writer .
Life
Erich-Günther Sasse attended school in Leitzkau and Gommern , then completed an agricultural apprenticeship, studied agriculture and graduated as an agricultural engineer. From 1973 to 1976 he studied at the "Johannes R. Becher" literature institute in Leipzig . Since 1976 he has been a freelance writer and has published novels and short stories. In particular with his critical novel Der Brunnen he came into the sights of the Ministry for State Security . From 1994 to 2004 he headed the Saxony-Anhalt Literature Office . Erich Günther Sasse lived in Leitzkau for the last few years.
