Erich Gülle (born January 1, 1902 ; † unknown) was a German football player .

Player career

Gülle made his debut for BFC Hertha 92 in the 1917/18 season as a 16-year-old in a 2-1 win over Norden-Nordwest 98 , in which he immediately scored the important 1-0. After the following game day, in which liquid manure was not used, the season was canceled because the summer break had been reached. At this point in time, Hertha was in first place and, as in the previous year, became Berlin champions .

In the following season, liquid manure was only used once, but with five goals in the 5-1 away win at BFC Weißensee 1892 on matchday 13, it made people sit up and take notice again. The following game against BFC Alemannia 90 was then no longer played because Hertha had illegally paid some players money. As a result, Hertha was disqualified and was only allowed to play friendly games until spring.

In the coming season, Hertha was allowed to participate in the top division again. Gülle, on the other hand, did not make it into the starting eleven again and only played four times (1 goal). In the next two seasons, Gülle did not come much closer to the regular formation, although he left Hertha in the 1920/21 season and even changed the association by playing in BFC Nordiska in 1913, with which he became Berlin champion and ATSB runner-up. It was not until 1922 that Erich Gülle became an important part of the Hertha regular formation and in the 1923/24 season he was even the club's top scorer with ten goals. In the following season, on the other hand, he scored only three hits in 17 missions, as he now served as a template for Otto Feier (14 hits), Hans Grenzel (13) and Willi Kirsei (10), who brought the old lady into the final round of the German Championship shot. There, the team trained by Heiner Schuldt penetrated into the semi-finals, but lost to FSV Frankfurt after extra time . Manure played all three games.

In the following three seasons, Hertha qualified as Berlin champions for the final round of the German championship. There she reached the final, but lost there first to SpVgg Fürth (1: 4) and the following year to 1. FC Nürnberg (0: 2). In the final round in 1928 , Gülle scored the decisive 2-1 win against FC Wacker Munich in the semifinals . But in the final, Hamburger SV was a size too big at 2: 5.

Overall, Gülle played 15 games in a row from 1925 to 1928 in the finals for the German championship, in which he scored two goals.

In the 1928/29 season, the left winger was no longer used and then ended his playing career.

Coaching career

In 1952, the B-youth from Adlershofer BC in Bad Elster, trained by Gülle, won the GDR championship.
