Erich Meng

Erich Meng (born February 8, 1912 in Idar , † June 18, 1940 near Nancy ) was a German football player .

Career

Meng belonged to Hanover 96 from 1932 to 1939 , for which he initially played a season in the championship held by the North German Football Association in the Oberliga Südhannover-Braunschweig . From 1933 he played in the Gauliga Niedersachsen in one of initially 16 and later to 23 spiked Gauligen the era of National Socialism as a uniform top flight in the German Reich .
