Erich Mertin

Erich Mertin (born July 27, 1872 in Schweidnitz , † April 9, 1928 in Oels ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Mertin attended the grammar school in Schweidnitz and studied law at the universities of Tübingen and Breslau . In 1893 he became a court trainee, in 1898 a court assessor, since May 1898 a lawyer and since 1900 a notary in Oels . From 1907 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and deputy head of the city council.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency district of Breslau 3 ( Groß Wartenberg , Oels ) and the German Reich Party .
