Erick Osornio Núñez (born March 5, 1983 in Puebla ) is a Mexican Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 68 kilograms.

Osornio achieved his first international success at the Pan American Championships in Quito in 2002 , he won the class up to 67 kilograms. The following year he played his first world championship in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , but dropped out early. However, the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo were successful , where Osornio reached the semi-finals in the class up to 68 kilograms and won bronze. In the following years Osornio was particularly successful at the Pan American Championships. In addition to two silver medals in Santo Domingo in 2004 and in Monterrey in 2010 , he celebrated his second title win in Caguas in 2008 .

Osornio, who is coached by José Luis Onofre, prevailed in the team's internal qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games in London against Idulio Islas and secured himself participation in his first games.
