Erik Forsgren (born February 16, 1987 in Östersund ) is a Swedish biathlete .

Erik Forsgren lives in Sollefteå and trains in the Swedish biathlon stronghold Östersund. He started biathlon in 2000 and starts for Tullus SG . In 2006 he played his first international competition in Presque Isle and finished fourth with Tobias Arwidson and Fredrik Lindström as the final runners of the season. A year later came in Martell the ranks 62 in the individual, 39 in the sprint, 54 in the pursuit eleven with the relay. Forsgren last started in Ruhpolding in 2008 at a Junior World Championship. He finished 16th in the individual, 35th in the sprint and 53rd in the pursuit. With the season he came with Arwidson, Pontus Olsson and Ted Armgren in 14th place. This was followed by participation in the European biathlon championships in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , where the Swede initially competed in the individual races of the juniors. In the individual he was 34th, 43rd in the sprint and 24th in the pursuit. For the relay race he was appointed to the Swedish men's relay and was 12th alongside Jörgen Brink , Sebastian Wredenberg and Arwidson. Since 2009 , Forsgren has also been used in the IBU Cup . He contested his first race here at the season opener in Idre and was 127th of a sprint. In the next race, again a sprint in the same place, he was 57th. In Altenberg he won first points in the second highest racing series as the 39th sprint in the further course of the season.
