Skinnar Per Tobias Arwidson (born June 7, 1988 in Lima ) is a Swedish biathlete .
Tobias Arwidson lives in Lima and trains in Torsby . The student has been practicing biathlon since 1996 and has been a member of the Swedish national team since 2004. He starts for Lima SKG and is trained by Inge Wadman. His father Lars-Göran Arwidson won two Olympic bronze medals in biathlon.
In 2006 Arwidson took part in the Junior World Championships in Presque Isle for the first time and finished fourth in both the relay and the individual, in sprint and pursuit he was 19. A year later he also appeared in Martell at the Junior World Championships, was sixth in the relay competition, eighth in the individual, 12th in the sprint and 28th in the pursuit. Since 2007 he has also been competing in the Junior European Cup and has been on the podium several times. In 2008, Arwidson took part in a Junior World Championship in Ruhpolding for the third time and reached ranks 13 in the sprint and 14 in the relay. The European Junior Championships which took place shortly afterwards in Nové Město na Moravě brought the results seven in the individual, 39 in the sprint and 16 in the pursuit race. In addition, he was used in the relay race of the seniors and was Sweden's 12th season. He also took part in the 2008 Military World Ski Championships in Hochfilzen and was 55th in the sprint and 15th in the military patrol run. Also in 2009 the Swede took part in the Junior World Championships in Canmore and finished 41st in individual and sprint and 43rd in the pursuit.
Arwidson has been competing in the IBU Cup in the performance area since the 2009/10 season . In his first sprint race in Idre , the Swede finished in 30th place and thus won his first points. The best result so far is a 12th place in a 2010 sprint in Nové Město. He was then nominated for the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz . There Arwidson started in the singles (70th) and in the sprint (62nd). At the start of the 2010/11 World Cup in Östersund , Tobias Arwidson took 40th place in the individual and thus scored his first World Cup point.
